After more than two decades working in business, corporate finance and accounting, C.M. Miller took a tremendous leap of faith, walking away from a “good job” to create a new path for herself. The gamble paid off with the release of her first novel in 2000, TAXES, DEATH & TROUBLE, An Audrey Wilson Mystery. This spine tingling pageturner that incorporates a murder mystery with an intense, inter-racial love story quickly became a standout in the mystery genre. It’s still the biggest selling installment in The Audrey Wilson Mystery Series.

ACCRUAL WAY TO DIE followed in 2001. A tale of friendship and betrayal, ACCRUAL WAY TO DIE has garnered lengthy discussion and even heated debate in book groups because it touches on the subjects of loyalty and trust. It’s an AWM favorite.
